Welcome!
SatNEx is a European Network of Experts for satellite communications, coordinated by the German Aerospace Center DLR. The first two phases of SatNEx were funded by the EU from 2004 to 2009. The third phase, SatNEx-III, comprises 17 partners and is co-funded by ESA from 2010 to 2013. A core team consisting of DLR, University of Surrey, and University of Bologna is coordinating the SatNEx-III research activities. Specific research tasks are contracted to partners in the frame of annual “Call-off Orders”.
ASMS/SPSC 2012
The 6th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference (ASMS) and the 12th Signal Processing for Space Communications (SPSC) Workshop will be jointly organized by the DEIS and ARCES Institutions of the University of Bologna, the DLR Institute for Communications and Navigation, the European Space Agency, the Integral SatCom Initiative Technology Platform, and the SatNEx Network of Experts. It will take place in Baiona (Spain), 5-7 September 2012
SatNEx III review and assembly meeting
The SatNEx III annual review and assembly meeting was held in ESA/ESTEC, May 16, 2012. The main focus on the meeting was on the conclusion of CoO2 activities, the SatNEx annual lecture, and the preparation of the forthcoming CoO3.
SatNEx Progress Meeting 2012
The SatNEx progress meeting (PM3) for year 2012 will be held on the 4th of September in Baiona (Spain), in conjunction with the ASMS/SPSC conference.
